CCCF is named fiscal sponsor for Clark County Fairground project
For the City Times
NEILLSVILLE – The Clark County Community Foundation (CCCF) has been designated by the county to receive all donations for the Clark County Fairgrounds Revitalization Project.
The Clark County Fairgrounds, through the Clark County Forestry & Parks Department, has undertaken this new initiative to address several issues and needs that have been identified in recent years. The project calls for the construction or relocation of buildings, addressing capacity and accessibility issues, and creating more family-friendly green space. The two largest components of the project include the construction of a new multi-purpose Livestock Building, and new multi-purpose Event Center at a projected cost of approximately $750,000 and $900,000, respectively.
A fundraising committee has been established to raise the funds needed to complete the construction of the two new buildings. All other fairground project improvements are being paid for by the Forestry and Parks Department through their annual budget process.
