December 18
Car damage reported
At 2:58 p.m., a Junction City woman called to report that her vehicle had been damaged while parked at a business on North Central Avenue in Marshfield. A license plate and car description was provided. An officer spoke with the woman who may have damaged the car, who admitted to being in the area around the time but doesn’t recall hitting another vehicle. Due to the small amount of damage to the victim’s vehicle, it is possible the woman didn’t know she made the damage.
December 26
Money stolen from safe
At 8:02 a.m., a 33-year-old Marshfield woman called to report that money was missing from a secured lock box inside her residence. She stated the money went missing sometime between Dec. 14-26. The investigation is ongoing.
December 27
Assault leads to arrests
At 2:56 a.m., a 44-year-old Marshfield man reported that he had been assaulted. Officers responded and after speaking with several people, arrested two men. A 55-year-old Marshfield man was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct, and violating a restraining order. A 68-year-old Marshfield man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
