UW Continuing Ed releases catalog

MARSHFIELD – UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield Continuing Education has released its spring 2019 course catalog and is now accepting registrations for upcoming programs. The spring catalog contains a wide selection of courses, including travel, art, lectures, and youth programs.
Several new programs offered include: ACT Prep, Smart Phones 101, Maximizing Social Security, and lectures on various topics, such as: the founding fathers, backyard birds, and music in the movies. Dinner courses include the always popular “Dinner and a Movie” and international dinners exploring Holland and Scotland, with cuisine to match.
Youth opportunities include an upcoming STEM Day – exploring science, technology, engineering and math through fun, hands-on activities, theatre camp, babysitter training, and gymnastics and ninja warrior camps.
Travel opportunities include a day trip to Appleton to see the Broadway comedy “The Play the Goes Wrong.”
