LA CROSSE — Hawkins Ash CPAs, a regional public accounting firm with nine offices in Wisconsin and Minnesota, has announced the results of its giving and community service activity in 2018. Employees chose to donate their time to causes that help eliminate food-insecurity and support healthy living through food. In this effort, Hawkins Ash CPAs employees donated just over 350 hours of hands-on activities that help curb hunger. Additionally, the firm donated $5,600 to charities that provide programs and services to stave hunger either locally or internationally.
“We take pride in the communities where we live and work and constantly strive to make them even better through sharing our time, our interest and our financial resources,” said Abe Leis, CPA, the Managing Partner at Hawkins Ash CPAs. “In additional to the numerous professional and charity organizations our employees volunteer with on a regular basis, each year they select one cause to which the firm sponsors eight volunteer hours per employee.”
