January 22, 2019
Cat fight avoided
On Jan. 22 at 8:23 p.m., a woman called to report that a 66-year-old Marshfield female was outside of her apartment and threatening to beat her up. The woman further stated that the woman was intoxicated. Officers spoke to both women and they agreed to go their separate ways for the evening.
January 25, 2019
Car chase ends in meth
On Jan. 25 at 2:19 a.m., a vehicle fled from a traffic stop, leading the officer to give chase. The car was located and stopped and the subjects continued to flee on foot. Eventually all were caught and methamphetamine was found.
January 31, 2019
Hit and Run
On Jan. 31 at 8 a.m., a Marshfield man reported that his vehicle had been struck and that the other car had fled the scene. The man stated that his car had been parked legally on West 17th Street in Marshfield when it had been hit and that there was a witness who heard the crash and was able to take several photos of the other car, though none clearly showed the license plate. The striking vehicle and the driver have yet to be identified.

Potentially disturbed man creates disturbance
On Jan. 3 at 3:10 a.m., an employee of a Marshfield hotel reported that a man was causing a disturbance. According to the report, the unidentified male was disturbing multiple guests by repeatedly slamming doors and threatening other guests using profanity. The man was picked up and taken first to the Marshfield Police Department for booking and after to the Wood County Jail.
