Merkel and Schecklman join Ronald McDonald House Charities board

MARSHFIELD — Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Marshfield announces the appointment of two new members to its board of directors – Jessica Merkel and Cindy Schecklman.
Jessica Merkel is currently an attorney at the Wausau-based law firm, Ruder Ware. Before becoming an attorney, Jessica worked in public sector leadership in both human services and public health.
A Marshfield native, Jessica and her husband, Ryan, enjoy introducing the world to their toddler by attending community events, spending time outdoors, gardening, and fishing.
Cindy Schecklman is employed by Nelson-Jameson, Inc. in Marshfield. Currently a pricing administrator/billing specialist, she has dedicated more than 31 years to the company. Cindy continues to be a dedicated, long-time volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House.
Cindy is a Loyal High School graduate. She attended UW-Eau Claire and received an associate degree at Mid-State Technical College. She is an avid Green Bay Packers fan, Badgers fan, and a Chicago Cubs fan and loves spending time with her family.
Merkel and Schecklman replace outgoing board members, Elizabeth Kracht and Lisa Roy, who recently resigned to pursue other charitable passions.
The pair will join fellow board members: Carol Adler, president; Pamela Acker, vice president; Carol Willfahrt, secretary; Ronald Fish, treasurer; Dr. Adrienne Cruz;
Joe Dolezal; Heidi Giese; Kevin Krautkramer; Amy Nystrom; and Iilee Pederson, executive director.
