Roommate Battery
On Feb. 27 at 1:15 a.m., a 45-year-old Marshfield male reported that his roommate, a 33-year-old Marshfield male, had physically assaulted him. The complainant also stated that the 33-year-old man had poured water on his bed and some of his property. The younger man was taken into custody on charges of domestic related battery.
Unwanted Communications
On Feb, 27 at 3:07 p.m., a Marshfield female reported that an 18-year-old Marshfield male was communicating with her 11-year-old daughter via the app Snapchat. Images that had been exchanged were not viewable, but written messages indicated that no violation of the law had occurred. The male was advised to cease contact with the girl and the mother stated that she would address the matter with her daughter as well.
Civil Dispute
On Feb. 27 at 8:25 a.m., a Marshfield woman reported that she had been verbally assaulted by one of her tenants. Both parties supplied different sequences of events, explaining how the event unfolded. The incident stemmed from an ongoing civil dispute between the two and both were advised to avoid creating further confrontational incidents.
March 1, 2019
Hit and Run
On March 1 at 8:40 p.m., a Marshfield man reported that he had been involved in a two-vehicle crash and the other party had fled the scene. The second party, a Marshfield woman, was then located by officers. She admitted to fleeing from the accident. Officers then discovered THC on the woman’s belongings, and she was transported to the Marshfield Police Department.

Shopko Swiper
On March 4 at 1:31 p.m., an employee of the Marshfield Shopko reported that a 27-year-old Marshfield female attempted to leave the store without paying for several items that she had taken. Charges will be requested.
