MARSHFIELD – Monster trucks are coming back to the Central Wisconsin State Fair (CWSF) in Marshfield. Executive Director Dale Christiansen announced March 19 that the 2018 show will be back again this year—the All-Star Monster Truck Show.
Christiansen said:
Christiansen had booked just one show last year, but the evening show sold out; and, with a major demand for tickets, fair officials scrambled to add an afternoon show before Saturday Night’s main event.
He added:
Shaw’s Wrecking Yard donates 14 cars for the show, then hauls them away. Tickets for the monster truck show will go on sale in April.
Between monster truck shows, Christiansen says Red Higgins and the Freedom Train will be back to perform.
Christiansen stated:
Red Higgins and the Freedom Train will perform a two-hour show in the Family Entertainment tent between monster truck shows on Aug. 24.
Also coming to this year’s fair is Thistle and Lace – husband and wife duo, Ashley and Jon McLemore from the Minneapolis area.
Christiansen explains:
Thistle and Lace will perform Aug. 23 & 24 in the Family Entertainment Tent.
