Letter to the Editor: Steiner speaks in support of Ziemba
Dear editor,
Here’s what Steve Ziemba, candidate for McMillan town supervisor, left out of his biography which arrived in households all over McMillan recently. Steve has a PhD in Healthcare Administration and has worked in biomedical science and healthcare for over 10 years. His skills include people management, which is something every town supervisor must have, especially at the town board meetings which are frequented by a group that has as its mission to agitate, find fault where there is none, and seed suspicion. Each of his positions has given him fiscal management experience, so he knows how to work within a limited budget.
Steve is a kind person who does not let emotions control his behavior and language. Plainly put, he understands what civility means and abides by it in all his dealings. Having more folks who are familiar with civility at the town board would be a huge asset for the township.
Steve is brilliant, level-headed and very humble. Have a cup of coffee with this guy and you will find a breadth of knowledge that is astounding- ranging from ethics and the law to gardening and beekeeping. He is a balanced thinker who is comfortable looking at both sides before making a reasonable decision. Steve is a life-long learner, who will bring his agile mind to any task that comes before him as town supervisor.
Steve Ziemba, along with Carolyn Optiz and Dave Swensen, will make a great team for the McMillan Town Board.
S.A.M. Steiner
