MARSHFIELD – Partners Bank of Marshfield recognized Community Banking Month in April by giving back to the community.
The Partners Bank staff volunteered by reading to children in local elementary schools for Teach Children to Save Day, spreading the message on the importance of saving for their future. Staff members also interacted with children at the Marshfield Children’s Festival.
Meals were packed at Marshfield United Way for the NOW (Nutrition On Weekends) program, which provides meals for children to eat on the weekends. Several also packed meals at Zion Methodist Church for the Feed My Starving Children program, which sends food packets throughout the world.
Partners Bank staff volunteered to cook and serve a meal for the patients staying at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
Marty Reinhart, Partners Bank CEO stated “Our employees are most likely neighbors or friends you know, who are committed in supporting the good work taking place, making our community a great place live and work.”
