Marshfield residents asked to complete economic development survey
For the Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD – What do residents of Marshfield really think about their quality of life and the economic opportunities available to them today, tomorrow, and into the future?
Those are just a few of the questions that a new online economic development survey is aiming to answer, and Marshfield Chamber of Commerce and Industry Executive Director Scott Larson said that residents can share their opinions on a wide variety of issues.
Larson explained that, “The purpose of the survey is to garner opinion community-wide, related to key elements of economic development that people are thinking about right now.”
Data from the survey will help the city attract and retain a skilled workforce based on the amenities and improvements that the city can offer.
That survey’s being conducted by the city’s Economic Development Board, the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and several other economic development partners.
Residents are asked to complete the survey through May 28 by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2019EconDevelopment.
