Cat litter litter
On May 13 at 4:15 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that one of her friends had told her that the apartment’s groundskeeper had thrown a bag full of cat litter and feces onto her vehicle. The groundskeeper, a 69-year-old Colby male, admitted to moving the bag so that he could mow the lawn but denied placing the bag onto a vehicle. The victim’s friend stated that while she did not witness the act, she had assumed it was the groundskeeper. Both she and her husband voiced frustration with the bag, which had been left outside by their car by the victim for over two weeks. They offered to take the blame for the incident and help with clean-up.

Threats
On May 14 at 11:55 a.m. the manager of a Marshfield fast-food franchise reported that an ex-employee was threatening to shoot somebody with a firearm. It was determined that a 20-year-old Marshfield male had entered the residence of a 29-year-old male, and that it was the 20-year-old who had made the threats. The male was arrested. The residence of the 29-year-old was searched, and numerous drug-related items were seized. He was also arrested.

K9 detects controlled substance in vehicle
On May 18 at 1:21 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted and a K9 unit detected the presence of a controlled substance within the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and illegal items were found. As a result, a 37-year-old Neillsville male was arrested for Possession of THC and Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance.
Attempted Break-in
On May 18 at 4:10 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that she heard banging on her front and side doors, on several of the windows of her residence, and on the front storm door. She also heard someone forcefully attempting to open the door. The complainant stated that this lasted for about 20 minutes. She further stated that she suspected it was two people and that nothing had been damaged.
Girl gang
On May 18 at 12 a.m. it was reported that a 24-year-old female and two other females had caused a disturbance at a Marshfield bar. The complainant stated that the 24-year-old spit in the face of a 38-year-old female and slapped her in the face before punching a 21-year-old female in the face three times. The 24-year-old was taken into custody.

Smelly weeds
On May 19 at 12:40 p.m. a Marshfield male reported that he could smell what he believed was burnt marijuana coming from across the hallway of his apartment complex. As a result of the ensuing investigation, a 57-year-old Marshfield male was issued a citation for drug paraphernalia and a 28-year-old Marshfield male was arrested for Possession of THC, THC Subsequent Offense, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and Felony Bail Jumping.
