June 21, 2019
Medication theft
On June 21 at 10 p.m. it was reported by a Marshfield male and female that medications and other items had been stolen from their West Arnold Street residence. The medications included vyvanse, trazadone, and gabapentin. The two stated that they would provide a complete list of all stolen items and indicated that the theft was the result of a long standing dispute.
Serial vodka thief
On June 21 at 11:48 a.m. a welfare check was requested on a male subject seen near Carmen Avenue in Marshfield. The man reportedly seemed ‘off’ and was seen drinking clear liquid from a bottle before leaving the bottle behind a house. Officers located multiple vodka bottles behind the indicated house and made contact with a 40-year-old man known to steal vodka and hide the empty bottles. The man was identified as the one seen drinking from the bottles and leaving them behind the house. A Marshfield supermarket was contacted and confirmed that a man wearing the same clothes as the subject had stolen vodka the previous evening. The man was taken to the Marshfield Medical Center and has charges being requested through Wood County.

Intruder
On June 20 at 1:31 p.m. it was reported that a man who had repeatedly been asked to leave a Marshfield shopping center kept returning. The man was asked multiple times to leave the premises June 18-19. The man allegedly made other patrons and staff feel uncomfortable. Police contacted the man and informed him that he was banned from the location.

Caretakers
On June 18 at 4:48 p.m. a Marathon male reported that he believed that the caregivers of his daughter, a Marshfield female, were taking advantage of her and stealing money and items from her for the past year and a half.
June 16, 2019
Gunslinger
On June 16 at 5 p.m. it was reported that a 36-year-old male had pointed a pistol at another male in a threatening manner. The incident occurred at a mobile home park in Marshfield, and the man was located by police and taken into custody on charges of felon in possession of a firearm and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.
