New coffee shop opens in Marshfield’s Downtown
For the Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD—Local coffee lovers have a new place to go, as John and Vicki Tracy opened the doors to the Uptown Coffee Company, in the former Railroad Antique and Cranberry Creek space at 121 S. Central Ave.
Chris and Erin Howard renovated the former Cranberry Creek space to prepare it for Vicki and John to implement their vision for Uptown Coffee Company. “Erin and Chris have been incredibly encouraging,” said Vicki. “And I love that they are sharing in our excitement.”
“We’ve created a beautifully welcoming space. Every single thing we selected for our coffee shop is intentional. We want people to walk in and think ‘this is beautiful.’ We want to build on the success of others in Marshfield who have created beautiful spaces for their businesses.”
“We wanted a space where people could sit across from each other, have a conversation, and make a connection,” said John.
While Uptown Coffee Company offers teas, blended drinks, lemonade in the summer, some baked goods, and more, their primary focus is coffee. “We want to create great coffee and a great atmosphere to drink it in,” Vicki explained.
