WESTON — D.C. Everest managed only two hits, but it was enough as it rode the arm of Logan Langbehn to a 4-0 shutout of Marshfield in a Wisconsin Valley Conference baseball game Tuesday at D.C. Everest High School.
Everest (10-9, 6-3 Wisconsin Valley Conference) scored twice in the first inning and added another in the second to chase Marshfield starter Logan Jakobi, who walked two and was hurt by an error in the first.
Connor Jasurda tossed five no-hit innings of relief for the Tigers (9-11, 4-5 Wisconsin Valley Conference), but they could not mount any offense against Langbehn, who struck out four, walked one, and scattered five hits to complete the shutout.
Braden Bohman had two of the Tigers’ five hits.
The two teams will meet Thursday at Jack Hackman Field at 5 p.m.
