Columbus Catholic volleyball beats Colby, now 3-0 in Cloverbelt East
Baierl has 19 kills, four aces in home win

MARSHFIELD — Marshfield Columbus Catholic kept pace at the top of the Cloverbelt Conference East Division volleyball standings with a 3-0 sweep of Colby on Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
Kendra Baierl had 19 kills and four service aces, and Celine Scholin added 10 kills for the Dons, who are now 3-0 in the Cloverbelt East and tied for first place in the standings after the 25-16, 25-18, 25-18 win.
Sierra Litwaitis led the Columbus defense with 17 digs. Jennifer Reigel had 17 assists, and Natalie Pospyhalla added 14 in the win.
The Dons will compete at the Abbotsford Invitational on Saturday.
