Marshfield woman charged with selling narcotics

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — A 41-year-old Marshfield woman has been charged in Wood County Court with three counts of delivery of Schedule I or II narcotics.
According to the criminal complaint, Marshfield police used a confidential informant to arrange the purchase of oxycodone from Carrie Doering on Sept. 26, 2016. The informant allegedly purchased 13 pills for $100 at a Marshfield location. The pills were later confirmed as containing oxycodone.
The following day Marshfield police arranged for a second purchase at another location, and the informant reportedly received 20 tablets, which were later identified as oxycodone, for $140.
On Nov. 11, 2016, Marshfield police arranged for a third purchase from Doering, where the informant allegedly purchased 20 tablets, which were positively identified as morphine, for the sum of $200.
All substances were sent to the state crime lab for positive identification.
Doering is charged with three counts of delivery of Schedule I or II narcotics, a class E felony that comes with a $50,000 fine and/or 15 years imprisonment for each charge if convicted.
