Arnold J. Premeau, 84, Pittsville, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11:00 am where a visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memory Garden Cemetery in the Town of Richfield.

Arnie was born in Taylor County, Wisconsin to Theodore and Anna (Shantos) Premeau on October 19, 1933. He was raised in the Town of Westboro, Wisconsin, where the Premeau family has a well-known, long-standing heritage. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Rucker for 62 years. They were wed in Madison, Wisconsin on December 8, 1956.

Arnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, camping, wildlife and all the simple things in life. Although he was a man of few words, he was well-known for his wit and thoughtful advice. He also was known for being able to fix just about anything. But most of all, he was a wonderful father to his three daughters, and he enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything else.

Arnie is survived by his wife, Phyllis, children, Lori (Norm) Babcock and Deb (Al) Deiler of Marshfield, and Nona (Ron) Zepplin of Stratford. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michael Fairbert, Stephanie Fairbert, Troy Deiler, Jaime (Anthony) Reigel, Abby (Nate) Thurber, Amber Schultz, and Jesse (Meg) Zepplin, and greatgrandchildren, Ryker, Emersyn, Allie, Dereck, Haily, Karisa, Jordyn, Coldyn, Lily, Allie, and Jaxon.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Keith Premeau, Virginia Haskins, and Carol Fox.

Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
