Timeless Tales presents an evening of local history and culture with On Wisconsin!

MARSHFIELD – Hosted by the Friends of Marshfield Public Library, the community enjoyed an evening of art, litearture, and food on March 8. Local author John Armbruster read a portion of his novel, Tailspin. Tailspin follows the story of World War II tail gunner Gene Moran who falls four miles through the sky without a parachute and survives, who is then captured by the Germans where he endures a 600 mile death march across Europe. Nearly seventy years later, a young history teacher named John works to bring Gene’s story to the page nearly seventy years after it happened.
Hub City Jazz performed during the event, featuring songs such as On Wisconsin!, Go! Pack! Go!, The Girl from East Neenah, and more.
