The Hub City Times sat down with Chestnut Center Board Vice President Edie Smazal to find out what’s in store for the holiday season at the Chestnut Center for the Arts.

We sat down in the library of the William Upham House with coordinators, Kim Krueger and Don Schnitzler, to get a preview of what’s in store at the historic home this Christmas season.

Aspen Starr, 2, of Rhinelander, who was diagnosed with a rare lung disease, visits with Child Life Therapy Dog “Dog-ter Dolly Paw-ton,” during trick or treat at Marshfield Children’s Hospital. During the event, held each year, young patients and their families come through an area decorated for the holiday and get candy and treats. The event is set up by the Children’s Hospital and Child Life staff.
