MARSHFIELD – Columbus Catholic Schools will host its 47th annual Alpine Holiday on Friday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 14, at Columbus Catholic High School, 710 S. Columbus Ave. in Marshfield.

The two-day community tradition will feature holiday shopping, food, live entertainment and family-friendly activities, with proceeds supporting Columbus Catholic Schools.

“As a cornerstone event for our school and the Marshfield area, Alpine combines impactful fundraising with a festive community celebration,” said event coordinators Bryan and Edna Devries.

The Alpine Holiday Craft Boutique will feature more than 60 vendors offering handmade items, gifts and seasonal merchandise. Shopping hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Additional activities include a silent auction, book room, kids raffle and games. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Food options throughout the weekend include a Friday fish fry, Saturday pancake breakfast and pulled pork dinner, along with refreshments and treats.

Live entertainment begins Friday with Richie Yurkovich & Polkarioty performing from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by Boogie and the Yo-Yo’z at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday’s entertainment includes Mike Nanstad from 9 to 11 a.m. and Mattea Joy from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Additional performances will feature the Columbus Catholic High School Jazz Band, Marshfield High School Madrigal Singers, Main Street Conservatory of Dance and the Alpine Holiday Student Lip Sync Competition.

The annual Alpine Holiday Ugly Sweater 5K Walk/Run will take place Saturday, with a kids fun run beginning at 8:45 a.m. and the 5K starting at 9 a.m.

The second annual Alpine Holiday Trivia Challenge will also be held Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. Teams of up to 10 participants, ages 11 and older, can compete for cash prizes while supporting the Columbus Catholic High School Student Council.

Now in its 47th year, Alpine Holiday continues to bring together families, alumni and community members. The event is organized by Bryan and Edna Devries with support from volunteers, school staff, families and local businesses.
